talented port elizabeth

Hey y'all...

My EC, wow, I'm in awe of you and the fantastic rooted art.... I have lived here for so long and little do most know that many musical genres thrive.... Thank you NMBT for listening sessions... Free at a jazz club in the CBD... Down town's get a revamp and it will look awesome when done.

Back yesterday afternoon's euphoria... Listening session started later than it was meant but when it did it blew up. We heard bands own the stage from New Afroteens, Asanda backed by New Afroteens to a rasta band to Poetic Soul to Take note, the sermon I'd heard Sunday mornin' was happening before my very own eyes as Faith was on Fire. PE bands rocked the souls of their crowd to the core and we,
individually present there lapped it up like milk.

Wow we were moved beyond words, each artist brought to the fore their A-game and all I kept wanting to chant: More fire, fire non-stop burn 'til the itty bitty morn'... Last night was magical! The cherry on top of the cake was that Take Note is going to be on the Joy of Jazz stage along with the New Afroteens and well Take Note won the recording deal with Native Rhythms that should be out before the Joy of Jazz takes place....

The Golliwood big wigs loved the venue. It was just a fab' afternoon / evening out for music lovers and those supporting their loved ones, it trully was magical. The blessings have come and shall continue to reign....
